Shams is a Chemical Engineering student, who started leading the flow cell project in the summer of 2017. He started off as an electrical team lead for the Chem-E-Car in 2016, and has participated in the conferences in Oregon and Minneapolis since then. Along with the flow cell, Shams helped with starting the Algae and Brewing projects under Envision, and presented with the teams in Clean Energy BC's Generate conference, as well as the Student component in the national AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) conference in Minneapolis.
